Yes, complimentary parking and valet parking are available at Hotel Indigo Jabal Akhdar Resort & Spa. Please note that a 4WD vehicle is required to reach the resort due to the mountain road conditions on the ascent to the Saiq Plateau. VUE Rooftop Lounge & Bar,  the highest rooftop venue in the Middle East, is open daily from 4:00 PM onwards, offering scenic sunset views, signature cocktails and an elevated dining experience above the Jabal Akhdar canyon. Yes, the resort’s swimming pools are temperature-controlled to ensure a comfortable experience year-round. At 2,000 metres altitude on the Saiq Plateau, temperatures in Jabal Akhdar can be significantly cooler than at sea level, particularly in winter, so temperature-controlled pools allow guests to swim comfortably in all seasons.

The resort sits on the upper edge of one of the most spectacular canyons in the Arabian Peninsula, approximately 160 km from Muscat International Airport.

The drive from Muscat to Hotel Indigo Jabal Akhdar takes just under two hours. A 4WD vehicle is required for the final ascent into the mountains, and hotel transfers are available on request. Guests travelling from Dubai can expect a drive of approximately five hours.

The high altitude of the Saiq Plateau in Oman creates a micro-climate unlike anywhere else in the region; cooler temperatures, distinct seasons and occasional rain and snow in winter. Spring (March to May) is particularly special when the famous Damask roses are in bloom and the terraced orchards are at their most lush. Summer temperatures on the plateau are significantly cooler than at sea level, making it a popular retreat for regional visitors.
