Nizwa Fort & Souq

Nizwa is a treasure in and of itself; rich in history and heavy with crossroads culture. Two of her finest gems are the landmark fort and historic souq.

The fort is one of Oman’s most beloved landmarks; a pillar of ancient history and a proud symbol of independence and strength. It is a beautiful piece of architecture, with pale desert stone in perfect sharp and curving lines rising from thousand-year-old foundations.
